ONE Nordic's subsidiary Lapplands Elnät wins multimillion contract with OX2
OX2 has commissioned Lappland Elnät AB, subsidiary of ONE Nordic, with its headquarters in Jokkmokk, to install the power grid for a total of 58 windpower stations in the new Åmot-Lingbo windfarm in Bollnäs and Ockelbo municipalities. The order value for Lapplands Elnät is SEK 50 million. The assignment means that Lapplands Elnät continues its expansion into the Scandinavian market and further strengthens its position in the windpower sector.
The project will start in the first quarter of 2018 and deployment is scheduled to take place in 2020.
"We have worked with OX2 in a number of successful projects over the years, and together we have developed a very good concept for project implementation and subsequent operations and maintenance. It is therefore very pleasing that we now have the opportunity to run a new project together with OX2 and to have the opportunity to further strengthen our windpower concept. Our excellence is to install and maintain the power grid that connects all the windpower stations in a windfarm and to ensure that the connection to the power distribution grid works properly, "says Stefan Helmvall, CEO of Lapplands Elnät.
"This is another big step forward in our business strategy to expand our geographic area regarding our windpower offer," said Tony Sundberg, Market and Sales Manager at Lapplands Elnät.
